Motorists will have to dig deeper into their pockets as energy regulator (EPRA) announce new prices for fuel with effect from Sunday Midnight.
PRICES OF petrol, diesel and kerosene have risen by Sh8.19, Sh5.51 and Sh5.32, respectively . That means Petrol will be sold at 115.18 per liter diesel Sh101.91, kerosene Sh92.44 in Nairobi.
Other regions will also feel the effect of the changes as stated by Energy and Petroleum regulatory Authority.
The marginal increase in the cost of fuel is attributable to rebounding international crude prices along with a weakening shilling which now sees Kenya incur a greater cost for fuel imports. Crude prices per barrel have been on a steady rise in recent months
